Sarah "Di" Dianne McMiller
August 15, 1955  -  January 26, 2026

Sarah "Di" Dianne McMiller peacefully transitioned from this life, surrounded by her loving family at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia, on Monday, January 26, 2026. Sarah was born on August 15, 1955, to the late James "Jim" Rodgers Sr. and Mary Lee Rodgers in Union, South Carolina. 

At an early age, her family relocated to Virginia, where she graduated from York High School. Sarah was a devoted member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and lent her soulful voice to the choir, with her favorite songs being "He's an on time God" and "Wade in the Water". Sarah loved spending time with her family and friends, working on crossword puzzles, writing in her journal, and doing calligraphy. Sarah always had an open heart and home to anyone in need. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Freddy Rodgers, Roosevelt Rodgers, Robert Rodgers, and James Rodgers Jr. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Kaytia Rodgers-Coles of Newport News, Virginia; son Kasey Kellow (Tierra) of Edgewood, Maryland; nine grandchildren, Zyanne (Tylicia), Zakiyah, Zamiyah, Malachi, Daequan, Serenity, Saraya, Symphony, and Synclaire; one great-granddaughter Kadeya; two sisters, Dixie Camp and Kaite Barrett; three brothers, Paul Rodgers, Jesse Rodgers, and Gerald Rodgers; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, with a viewing beginning at 12:00 p.m.
